The photo shows Champion Jockey falling from a horse and being clipped by another runner. Both horse and AP were uninjured in the fall. The picture was grabbed very quickly and is a great advert for the D300's high continuous frame rate and super quick focusing.
Aperture was set to f10 and the shutter speed at 1/1250. ISO was 800, the lens used was a sigma 70-200mm. The lens is decent if you're looking for a cheap & fast telezoom.
